happy fall y’all

Happy October! It certainly still feels like summer in Wilmington, but that didn’t stop me from going all out on decorating for my favorite season.

I’ve linked most of the items to the pictures. Some decor is from seasons past, but I found similar alternatives that are just as cute.

No front porch? No problem. I couldn’t cover stairs with mums and pumpkins so I transformed my deck shelf to fit the season. All you need are some mums, different pumpkins, and some gourds!

This set up makes me so happy each morning when I sit out on my deck for my morning routine. Trader Joe’s had some great deals on fun pumpkins and I found the mums on sale at a local grocery store.

my favorite indoor centerpiece

This simple centerpiece cost less than $10 and will work well all the way through Thanksgiving. I took a wire basket I already had and filled it with plush pumpkins from the Target dollar section, added a few pine cones, and wrapped the basket in a garland.

A few more Target plush pumpkins to line the windowsill.

I kept the kitchen area simple with a cute fall leaf banner (also from the Target dollar section), some fresh sunflowers, and a tin candle. I think this banner will also transition through Thanksgiving instead of having to be changed out after Halloween.

The dining room/bar area definitely has more of a Halloween focus. I love the white tassel banner to use along with some of my other seasonal banners. Filling a vase with little pumpkins is a simple way to make another centerpiece. The fun bar accessories are Target dollar section of course!

I kept the bedroom simple by draping jack-o-lantern lights over my headboard and adding a new, fall scented SAND + FOG candle, which is one of my favorite brands!Their candles are always beautiful, don’t have overwhelming scents, and are coconut wax blends for cleaner burning!
